The Italian American Heritage Club of Hunterdon County
October 2015 Meeting Program:
Heritage Night – What is Your Ancestry or Ascendena?
Picture
Have you ever thought about your ancestors?  Well, think about them for October’s meeting!

You just may find that the person sitting across the table from you is a relative. According to Webster, ancestry is a series of ancestors or progenitors;  lineage or those who compose the line of natural descent.
At the October 20th meeting, a large map of  Italy will be hung for you to show where your ancestors lived in Italy.  Then go on to tell when they came to the United States;  where they lived in the United States;  how they lived and what they did for a living:  stories you have been told; memories; and more.

The “ancestry night” has been held in the past with the sharing of great stories, memories and laughs.

About our logo

Picture
During Sal Lazzarotti's tenure as President of the IAHC, he skillfully created our Club logo.  If you look closely, not only does it contain the Italian and American flag colors, it also contains the letters "I" and "A" further denoting pride for our Italian and American heritages. )
