Oct 18 Philadelphia Bus Trip
Join us on Sunday, October 18th for a day full of Italian Culture, Fine Italian dining, and Fun! We will depart by charter coach from the Mountain View Chalet at 11am for our trip to Philly and return at approximately 9pm. The cost is $150 per person. We are limited to 56 participants. Our visit will include a guided tour encompassing European Art from 1100 AD to 1500 AD.
The Cafe:
Visit the Victor’s Café Website and learn the wonderful story of the founding of Victor’s Café by Italian immigrant John Di Stefano. John’s grandson, Greg Di Stefano, continues the Di Stefano family’s operation today. The Cafe also was part of the Rocky movies!
- First stop- the Philadelphia Museum of Art for a guided tour encompassing European Art from 1100 AD to 1500 AD.
- Next, we will visit the iconic Victor’s Café for a classic Italian Dinner served with a side of opera. Your 4-course Italian meal will be served with entertainment by professional and opera students.

Volunteer Event at Flemington Food Pantry

The Flemington Food Pantry was awakened on March 18th to the sounds of Italian music as twelve members of the Italian-American Heritage Club of Hunterdon County stood outside, greeting community members as they arrived for food assistance.
This would not be the first time the Italian Club, made up of Italian-Americans, had lent assistance to Flemington’s Food Pantry. Each year, the Hunterdon-based Italian club gives two large checks to both the Flemington and Clinton Food Pantry. It was decided amongst the Italian club members to do something extra, something personal, something Italian: offer an Italian “meal to go.”
Two shifts of Italian club members were organized, with each volunteer group prepared to assemble bags of an Italian-themed meal. As individuals arrived at the Flemington Food Pantry, the Italian Club members greeted each car, offering a meal consisting of dried pasta, sauce, bread, vegetables, and dessert.
The day was cold, yet the mood was festive. A large banner displaying the Italian-American Heritage Club of Hunterdon flapped in the March breeze. Two folding tables, piled high with food supplies, were active as the Italian-Americans individually packed each meal bag. A speaker sent sounds of familiar Italian music out into the air. When time permitted, small cups of cappuccino warmed the cold bodies of the volunteers. Italians know how to enjoy a moment.
As darkness took over and the final eighth hour had passed, over one hundred individual Italian-themed meals had been handed out. Italians believe that offering food is one of the greatest displays of love and respect. On that very chilly March Flemington day, many members of the Hunterdon community felt loved and respected!

About our logo
During Sal Lazzarotti's tenure as President of the IAHC, he skillfully created our Club logo. If you look closely, not only does it contain the Italian and American flag colors, it also contains the letters "I" and "A" further denoting pride for our Italian and American heritages. )
